Week of November 2

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween weekend. This Wednesday is the first night of conferences. If you have a conference on Wednesday and have selected for it to be virtual I will be emailing out a link for conferences on Tuesday. To be fair to all families conferences must start and end on time. If you have not signed up for a conference time please be sure to do so. Tuesday is Family Ties night in our school district. There will  be no homework assigned so that families can spend time together. In math this week students will continue to learn multiplication. During ELA students are reading historical fiction novels in reading groups. Students are also learning about affixes and to identify a main idea using supporting details. In social studies students are learning about the history of Auburn and Bainbridge. Finally during science students are learning about plant life cycles. Students will be receiving a new reading log on Monday and be assessed on Friday over the words they received last week. Have you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
